UTeach for Texas can help you (or your teachers) prepare for their certification exams. We maintain an online platform for secondary math and science teachers to review a curated set of preparation information, tips, and resources at no-cost for up to five months.
We provide additional support in small group and one-to-one settings for a fee. Study plans include blended learning options that can be replicated by teachers. Teachers benefit by preparing for their exam(s) and learning new instructional strategies to implement in their classrooms.
Fees are reimbursable by TEA after payment is received from the school district/charter.

SELF-GUIDED EXAM PREP
Access to a curated collection of free study materials and quizzes for five months. Discussion board available for teachers to collaborate. Technical assistance available.

SMALL GROUP SUPPORT
Teachers are enrolled in the preparation course for five months. Teachers are grouped by TExES exam area. A study plan is developed which includes blended learning activities and one synchronous, small group study session per month.
$1,500 per teacher for 5 months
1:1 SUPPORT
Teachers are enrolled in the preparation course for five months. Teachers participate in the same activities as the small group community and receive additional, one-on-one support from a content-area tutor.
$2,750 per teacher for 5 months
